Partial closure of Centennial Marine Drive for the duration of the 2025 New Zealand Surf Life Saving National Championships from 3 -9 March 2025
It is proposed to temporarily close Centennial Marine Drive, from the roundabout at Salisbury Road to the entrance of Kiwa Pools, for the duration of the Surf Life Saving National Championships event from 5am on the 3rd to 8pm on 9th March 2025. The closure is 24 hours a day for 6 days.
During the closure no vehicles will be able to use the road.
Anyone objecting to this proposal can make their objection in writing stating the reasons why. This must be received by 8am on 10 February 2025.
This notice is issued under the Local Government Act 1974 Section 342 and the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965.
