Road closures for the annual Te Pukenga - EIT Tairawhiti Graduation Parade 21 March 2025
The following roads will be closed for the EIT Graduation Parade, organised by EIT Tairāwhiti, on 21 March between 11.45am and 12.45pm. Roads will reopen as soon as graduates have passed through.
- Gladstone Road from SH35 to Grey Street
- Grey Street from Gladstone Road to Childers Road
- Childers Road from Grey Street to Bright Street
- Bright Street to War Memorial Theatre
No one other than those covered by the permit for the above event would be able to use the area of road whilst the parade is passing through.
This notice is issued under the Local Government Act 1974 Section 342 and the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965.
