Last year we staged an informative and interactive display focusing on protecting our environment through controlling pests- both plants and animals. This year we are back, and the focus is our waterways.
Come and learn more about river and estuarine ecosystems and what restoration mahi is underway here in Tairāwhiti, such as the spartina removal project.
We will have our conservation questionnaire again with some awesome prizes for kids and adults. Answers can be found in the display. Come and find us near the sideshows!
