Planned road closure for SH35 changed to stop/go

Update: Note change of date to Friday 16 November - stop/go management

The NZ Transport Agency advise State Highway 35 Tatapouri Hill, between Okitu and Tolaga Bay, will now be under stop/go management between 10am to 2pm on Friday 16 November.

This is to allow the NZ Police Serious Crash Unit to carry out their investigation into a fatal crash on the road on Saturday morning.

Motorists should expect delays and allow extra time for their journey.

The postponement of the investigation means the road will be fully open tomorrow, Thursday 15 November.

The NZ Transport Agency wants to thank road users for their understanding and patience.
