Nominations close for Gisborne ward by-election

Nominations closed at noon today for Council’s Gisborne Ward by-election.

Those nominated are:

A postal ballot for electors of the Gisborne Ward will commence on Wednesday 28 October 2020 with the delivery of voting documents.

Voting documents can be returned by post or hand delivered to Council’s main office at 15 Fitzherbert Street, Gisborne.

All votes must be received by the electoral officer or an electoral official by noon, Thursday 19 November 2020

A person can apply to enrol as either a residential or ratepayer elector up to and including Wednesday 18 November 2020 – the day before the close of voting.
