Fishing vessel beached at Waipaoa

*Final update 25 April 1.15pm - *The* *commercial fishing boat Jay Patricia was successfully re-floated off a sandbar near the Waipaoa River mouth at 12.50pm on Anzac Day. A successful operation. The land/sea oil booms deployed by the response team were thankfully not required. Pack up is continuing and the road has reopened. Read more >>
