In 2018 Council undertook a review of the previous (2016-2025) Progressive Implementation Programme (PIP) for our district. This updated PIP outlines our staged schedule for implementation of the National Policy Statement for Freshwater Management 2014 (NPSFM).

Water quantity policies, methods and rules
This paper outlines the approach to managing water quantity. Two tables attached in Appendix 1; the proposed policy approaches, methods and rules and the Waipaoa catchment water quality limits. These are working documents and under constant refinement as we liaise with FWAG and other stakeholders
Feedback to the draft Freshwater Plan
In February 2014 we received 40 submissions on the work completed in the plan to that date. We summarised the submissions including comments made at the public meetings.
