Tairawhiti support and assistance for people impacted by Covid-19

The wellbeing of affected Tairawhiti residents is a key priority. During this uncertain time, we want to ensure residents are well supported.

Our community is working together to make sure the right support is in place.

Financial support and assistance

Ministry of Social Developement (MSD) can provide financial support for those experiencing a loss of income or facing financial hardship, in particular help power bills or accommodation costs. MSD also has information for employees who could be facing redundancy and business owners managing redundancies.
